h.Practical Issues:
Visa: None of theEuropean countries neds Visa to visit Turkey but citizens
of some non European countries will need Visa. And Visa process for Turkey
citizens of some countries are very long (it can even take months) Those
who will need Visa invitation should send their passport information to
esfvisainvitation@gmail.com email address.
Solidarity Fund: For Solidarity Fund priority will be given to collective
transportation by busses or trains from neighbouring countries. Because of
both enviromental and financial reasons, priority will be given to those
who travel as group with bus or train from neighbouring countries. A
European working group in order to look for new funding resources for
solidarity fund can be very usefull.
i.Translation: Since there is a limited budget for the organizing of ESF
2010, most of the translators will be from the Turkey. Around 100
translator will be used from Babels network and the rest will be found
inside Turkey. But in order to ask for Babels help on planning translation
for ESF 2010, first Babels debt from the previous Forum should be paid. It
is responsibility of all the ESF components to pay for the Babels debt and
this issue should be taken into consideration seriously. In order to,
assure the Babels intrepeters that their expenses will be paid in Istanbul
ESF, Organizing Committee considers to prepay the tickets. In this way, we
can avoid a debt to translators after the Forum.
